Happy Valentines Day... if you're eating chocolate, I hope it's dark chocolate... but not too much. It's OK to indulge every once in a while, I know I do. A good idea is to put any Valentines candy in the fridge or freezer and only eat one piece a day as a bedtime treat for doing a great workout or eating healthy all day. But remember you have to put in extra workout time to work it off. By the end of the week it could be a few hundred calories, depending on the treat.
Better idea is to take your Valentine on a walk, while holding hands. Or cook him or her a healthy romantic dinner.
I had a good shoulder work-out today. I'm using lighter weights and doing more reps while concentrating on my form. I did the same for Chest on Saturday and My pecs are still sore. I'm learning you don't need to lift heavy all the time, perfect form is more important. I had to get rid of that macho attitude before I got hurt. To me it feels like more of a work-out with the lighter weights. I'll do this for the next few weeks and see how it goes.
