Yesterday I inadvertently forgot to mention my weekly measurements, but since there was no progress I probably subconsciously forgot about it. I've slowed down to a crawl, and unless I really intensify or increase my cardio I probably won't see any significant progress until I start riding my bike regularly. Cycling is what I enjoy doing and trying to do something else that I wouldn't enjoy would be fruitless and would probably only last a few weeks, if that. You have to do something you like doing, otherwise you will not stick with it. Cycling, walking, running, swimming, tennis, whatever it is, when it comes to cardio, you really need to like what you're going to be doing in 30 to 60 minute sessions.
Speaking of cycling, I'm toying with the idea of waking up an hour earlier when cycling weather comes around. Not to ride, but to do my weight lifting, so that when I get home from work I can just jump on the bike and do a good ride. I wouldn't ride anyway when I wake up, because my day starts at 9PM. Only thing is I don't think I should work-out on an empty stomach... It's just a thought for now. A lot of people do Cardio on an empty stomach (Fasted Cardio) first thing in the morning, but lifting weights is a different animal, I think you need something in your gas tank for that... I'll have to research that when I get time.
