My Baby's Back

I went and got my bike back this morning from it's tune-up. Gears adjusted, chain lubed, brakes tightened, wheels trued... and it's ready to ride... Thanks Yorktown Cycles http://yorktowncycles.com/

Now if they could only tune-up the weather, it was snowing when I left work this morning, but it stopped sometime around 9am, so I said let me drive up to Yorktown and pick up my bike. They had left me a message on the phone that it was ready. I wasn't going to pick it up today because of the weather, and tomorrow it was supposed to be worse, so I figured I would get it on Friday. But I heard that there was going to be a window of no snow for a few hours, so I went.

Yorktown is about 30 miles from here, with a 40 minute drive... ok, I do it in 30... shhhhhh. But anyway, here in Westchester County we have a natural weather border, which is Interstate 287. It could be raining south of I-287 while just North of it, it will be snowing or sleeting. So I'm driving North and everything is wet and messy... until I get passed I-287 and it looks like a Winter Wonderland, all the trees were covered in white. I wish I would have brought my camera, because even though I've had enough of snow for a few years, it was beautiful scenery.
