I came home from work today and immediately went to my Chest work-out, there was improvements again all around. The work-out lasted 26 minutes, not counting warm-ups. after my Chest work-out, I had my protein shake and rested for about 20 minutes, checking emails and stuff.
After that I jumped on my bike and headed out the door. I think my bike work-out was tougher than my weight session.... the winds were really kicking up. The temperature wasn't that bad, mid 40's... but the wind was blowing 22mph with gusts up to 37mph. Boy, was it rough. I was fighting all the way.
I only did 9 miles, but it felt like 29 miles... uphill. My average speed was only down less than 1mph over yesterday.... and I only stayed out there for 40 minutes. That was enough for today... tomorrow looks like an off day for cycling, it's dipping back into the 30's... too chilly for me. I know my Canadian friends laugh at me, LOL.
But anyway, I got a little taste of how it's going to go, with weight training and cycling on the same day... I should have no problem falling asleep shortly after I hit the pillow. My average rides will be about 20 minutes longer, so these blog updates might be a little shorter if I'm pressed for time. Happy Weekend All.
