The Joys of Planning



Today I’m a little pressed for time, I have to go into work an hour early tonight, so I have to get to bed an hour earlier, eat an hour earlier, and make sure I have time for everything else I need to do. This is where planning things in advance comes in extremely handy.  I had my workout plan ready to go, I got in my gym, worked out and got out. I even added some extra sets.  I didn’t have to stand around wondering which exercise I should start with, which exercise is next… how much weight I used last time.  It was an efficient 45 minute workout.
Same with my meals, I don’t have to stand in front of the refrigerator wondering what to eat.  I know my choices, and I know how many more calories I can have for the day, and how much more protein I need to consume.  I think planning, organizing and having order is the German in me.
If only I had a Blog entry planned, I wouldn’t have had to post this lame one.  Peace.
