What's It All About?

Follow me, or better yet join me as I journey into my sixties... enjoying my grandchildren... trying to stay healthy and fit... maybe some traveling and whatever else tickles my fancy.

Powerful Tools

How many times have you thought of something and said to yourself, I'll check that out when I get home. Or somebody asks you a question that you don't know the answer to and you tell them you'll get back to them... but 5 minutes later it's forgotten.  I always keep a pen and some paper handy to write these things down. Especially since I'm getting older I tend to forget more and more.

I get ideas all the time and if I don't write them down they disappear as quickly as they appeared. I also make "To Do" lists as I think of things I want to accomplish after work or on my days off. Sometimes I empty my pockets at the end of the day and there are 5 or 6 scraps of paper with writing on them.
Since I keep my goals for the day on my mind, my thoughts and ideas are usually 75% related to that end. Your mind is powerful as well. If you have a strong vision and a great desire for something and you keep it in the forefront of your thoughts, your mind will work to make your thoughts become reality.
To paraphrase a famous quote: Thoughts become words, Words become actions, Actions become habit, Habits become character, and Character becomes your destiny.
