Weekly Update & Goals for 2011

It's Friday and time for my Personal Progress Report. Ever since I reached my original goal of 185lbs. I relaxed my diet just a little bit. Some days I had a spoonful of natural peanut butter chunky style before bed on other days I had a handful of almonds... ok ok, I'll be truthful, I had exactly a measured tablespoon of the peanut butter or exactly an ounce of almonds... hey don't laugh, an ounce is 22 almonds, that's a nice size snack.Anyway, even with my somewhat "relaxed" diet I still lost 2 lbs. this week.
I'm at 181.6lbs. that's 38.4lbs. lost in almost 3 months.
My waist is down to 35.5 inches, down 7.5" all together
And my estimated body fat is 18%, down from 29% when I started.
As usual I will keep my starting stats and current stats right there in the box on the right of this blog. (or the latest blog, if you're reading this at a later date.)

I have my goals for 2011 pretty much set: (these are subject to changes, improvements, enhancements, etc.. within the next 3 weeks.)
First-  More muscle, less fat... I will get down to and maintain 10 - 12% body fat... I will accomplish this by continuing to adhere to a healthy and nutritious diet consisting of whole and unprocessed foods. I will also build muscle with a progressive strength training exercise program along with cardio for heart health.
More muscle means burning more calories and fat while resting, so I get to eat more.
2- More Cycling... I will cycle 3 - 5 days a week (weather permitting) and I will reach a goal of 2011 miles for the year.
It will be nice to fit into my cycling gear again, this past year I was riding in my street clothes, not very comfortable.
3- I will do one lesson a day of German... I want to learn German for my next trip, whenever that will be.

All this stuff should take no more than 3 hours a day... that should leave me with at least 2 hours of down time, after work and before sleep. Friday's will still be my day off from working out and my day to plan the next weeks goals, workouts, meals, etc... I can still do German lessons on Friday's and if it's nice out go for a short bike ride.
So those are my goals as they stand right now... and I will spend the rest of the year prepping it all out with mini goals and step by step plans, so I can hit the ground running come New Years.
